To Change or Not to Change?

I'm getting the itch to change my blog again. Where some people get the itch to make changes in their wardrobe or to move furniture around, I get obsessed with my web presence. I have no idea why.

Now, if you haven't figured it out by now, I have two blogs. I regularly think about consolidating the two and making a little less work for myself. The reality is that I have two groups of readers. I post to Chrystal's Daily Chronicles for "Mommy readers" who enjoy hearing about the details of daily life around our household. I personally love reading the blogs of Moms who can show me HOW they do the job that they do. It helps me to get better at my job. I'm amazed that there are some ladies that think they can learn from me but I'm willing to share if it helps somebody else.

The other reader that I have is the non-Mommy reader. When I first started blogging, I would blog occasionally to share some inspirational truth that I'd learned about life. That's what this current blog is all about. I know for a fact that this audience includes male readers, non-Mommys, and other people who wouldn't want to be bothered with the recipe I used today for pancakes :) Also, on this blog there are quite a few people that have subscribed via FeedBlitz to receive automatic updates. I wouldn't dare presume that they want an email from me everyday. I don't think when they signed up for automatic updates that's what they had in mind!

With the thought of giving my blog (or blogs) facelifts, I'm also plagued with the decision of keeping two separate blogs as is my current practice or combining them and maintaining one.

What do you think. I'd love to hear from you! Leave me a comment!

A little late with a comment, but I think change every now and again is great. For me personally, it's exciting to see a different page (every now and then) when I sign on to read your blogs. Which are by the a part of my day.

as the overwhelmed mother of 6, I'm all about streamlining and making things just plain simpler for me during this stage in the game :-) Go for whatever brings YOU joy and ignites YOUR passion. No need to add one more thing that stresses you, but definitely do it if it blesses you :-)

I'm totally new to your blog. Just discovered it off the SL boards. Personally, I'd combine the two. But that's just me. I like your blog. From what I can tell, you and I have some similarities that make it very easy for me to relate to you! Keep writing!
