Road Trip - Day 7 (Sandy Cove)

Another day of our family vacation but our last day in Two Mama's house for awhile. We spent the morning packing up and getting ready to leave. Kano sat patiently waiting for his great-grandmother to feed him his applesauce.




Saying goodbye to my grandparent's home and front porch. We won't see this house for a while after today.





We got on the road and headed to our next stop...Sandy Cove. My Dad has to speak and my brother has to sing. Two Daddy and Two Mama are coming too. We will just continue the family fun in another location!

Here are all the boys (my sons and their cousins) at a stop for lunch...you guessed it...McDonald's. After watching Supersize Me, it gets harder and harder to eat here...But man, oh man, I have internet access here! If they can't bait you with the fries, they'll bait you with the WiFi!




As soon as we arrived, we hurried and changed to get into the pool.

Uh oh! Sumo, what's wrong!?!?!

Here's everyone in the pool, swimming with Uncle J.C. The only person missing is Sumo. But we already know where he is...




Oh, no! Another unhappy boy? Kano looks to be out of his comfort zone too.

After we dried and redressed cleaned up, we found a cool spot to hang out and do...umm...stuff boys like to do. (You have no idea how nervous I was taking this picture. I can just see the headlines now..."Four year old boy cracks his head wide open on jagged rocks while his mother watches through the lens of her camera"...!)




The boys all got a chance then to go hang out with their own kind other kids while their parents got a much needed break. After we picked them up, we all headed to the snack shop for a treat...
