Sumo-ism #1

I'm sitting here missing Sumo and wishing that he could have come to Philly with us. You know that saying..."Kids say the darndest things?"...It's so true isn't it...especially when you are thinking of the things your own kids have said.

What I always say to Sumo...

"Sumo, do you know that you are the only first boy I have?"...

Most days, Sumo smiles sheepishly and says yes, but one day, he looked me square in the eyes and said,

"Mommy, do you know that you are the only first lady I have?"...

You know my heart just melted into a puddle on the floor. My sweet little Sumo, what am I gonna do with you? :)
