Going Through My Drafts

Since the kiddos have been a little under the weather this week, I'll be going through all the "drafts" of ideas for blogs that I've been storing up and pulling some random things out to talk about. I say this as if my blog isn't already random :)

Anyway, hold on! Let's see what I can drum up.

Wow this article is very interesting. Surprisingly I agree with what she is saying. Too many times Christian women feel as if working outside of the home is wrong, but would leave home for "ministry" reasons. What's the difference?

However I would go as far to say that the home is the first ministry for both of the parents. Dads are almost always left off of that list. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be involved with ministry, but too many times Dads also place their "ministry" or job before their family.

As an educator, it always surprises me at how much parents will leave parenting up to other people because they are busy with other activities that satisfy their wants. Most of the issues and problems children have are a result of the lack of parental involvement in their lives.
