Compared to yesterday, today was a flop. The littles ran around playing aimlessly but having a great time while I sat on the couch, watching them. This is probably as a result of my lack of sleep this past weekend.
They kids had fun, amazingly enough. We ended up putting the cushions from the couch (our old one in the gameroom) and letting them jump for awhile and then...even with the TV/Video on, they got board and meandered into the room to play with their toys, then on to puzzles, then on the outdoors...
My oldest has coop on Thursdays and is gone from 12pm - 7pm. Afterwards, I picked her up and we headed to 24 Hour Fitness for her P.E. and my daily cardio workout. We go to a dance class. I didn't attack it with much energy but at least I did something. My daughter had a great time. She loves the dancing and the music.
It was nice to know that even in my funk, fatigue, and floppation (is that a word?) that my kiddos still had a good day.
